I have enjoyed sharing my Christian Louboutin 101’s with you,
and I hope that you have been as well.
There is no lack in understanding that they are an investment.
For that reason, knowing as much as possible before purchasing is ideal!
Depending on the purchase location they may not be returnable.
In the event that they are, it is imperative to ensure that the
shiny red soled bottom remain that way until you are certain of your purchase.
That could lend a challenge because each flooring has its own considerations.
Just to consider the previous posts,
we have concluded many thoughts since the start of this series…
1.Louboutins are an investment
2. The sizing is important
3. There are a variety of styles (that either aide in the comfort or reduces it)
4. Research, with all of your getting, get an understanding
The previous posts are more in depth respectively. Now, let’s move ahead…
“If you do what you love, it is the best way to relax .”-Christian Louboutin
I was asked to cover the Louboutin Very Prive. With great pleasure I shall…
I do own a pair,
may I say they are the ideal peep toe shoe.
This is a shoe that you could wear in heavy rotation with little worries.
There has been a style modification since my purchase, The New Very Prive.
Both the Very Prive and The New Very Prive are overall similar in looks.
The New Very Prive.
They are $795.00 currently.
According to the Christian Louboutin site,
“Monsieur Louboutin believes that every woman’s closet should include a pair of “Very Prive”.
Her signature, low cut vamp easily adds a bit of
Loubie allure to any ensemble.
This version of our 120mm classic is the perfect choice for those who want
to add a truly timeless style to their red soled collection.”
~Sizing and Extra Specs:
In heel wearer’s definition, this is a 120mm pump with a 20mm hidden platform.
I LOVE a good platform! They really make the world go round.
Come through Prive!!
When I slipped my feet into these sweeties, the Glide that took place.
They were very comfortable.
I purchased a size 41, if they had a 41.5 available, I would have purchased it.
I do have a slight addiction.
With European sizing, you’d typically just add 30 to your normal shoe size.
However, the styles vary in regards to fit.
In the average retail American brand I am a solid 11.
Opting for a 41 wasn’t a terrible choice
due to it being a peep toe pump.
I typically lean towards a 41.5/42.
After multiple wears, the 41 is a comfy fit.
***FYI…This brand always measures the heel height in millimeters.
(pic my foot in shoe)
These are a full go ahead in comfort!
The open toe allow your feet to breathe. Team no claustrophobia!!!
The platform as mentioned; counters some of the heel height.
You’re actually working with a 100mm pump.
It is an easy slide on and off pump.
I never took these to be stretched.
I did however perform my stretch trick (Here) on them to loosen the toe box.
Over time they have become a more comfortable
as the shoe is genuine leather
and molded to my foot.
I’ve never worn inserts with The Prive.
I have worn these with and without pantyhose/tights.
The comfort level with them is equal for pantyhose/tights.
They are church girl activity approved!
By that I mean…
They can withstand a concert, album releases, ushered,
convocation walking, and pretty much, acting as if they were sneakers.
Since this isn’t a skinny heel, it is easier to distribute weight for wears.
This pump is a part of the Christian Louboutin Classic Collection.
Honestly for good reasons!
I would say for a first purchase it is a solid choice along with The Bianca and Pigalle 100.
There are multiple options for styling options and the comfort level in them are great.
“Strangely enough, I really think that shoes are a communication tool between people.”-Christian Louboutin
Another style down!
Until next time…
