How many times have you been given a dress code and you’re scrambled? I mean lost as if your starting from dressing 101. With professionalism as the top priority, coupled with GLAM!
But you already knew Glam would be a factor. I began my hunt. My invitation was in hand to attend a Shindig. But what to wear??
Long story short, I wanted to enjoy myself without worries of adjusting my clothes throughout the night.
I pulled this number from my closet. A Lace Tea Dress from New York and Company. The deep burgundy color is perfect for this time of year and so rich in hue.
I pondered the desire for a monochromatic look. And reached for my burgundy Pony Hair Burberry Loafers. Progress was being made! I’m not sure where you live, in Virginia it’s freezing! Literally, freezing and below. I stopped by WalMart to purchase black Opaque Argyle Print Tights.
I completed this look with my Chanel Wallet on Chain, a Chanel Brooch, my David Yurman cocktail, Hermes Cuff, a simple strand of pearls and a Wool Cape from Zara.
I felt flirty due to the lace, pearls and Chanel…my fragrance of choice was Ladies Creed Aventus. A simple word to remember, Always Werk, Work!!
Until next time,
