Just to consider the previous posts,
we have concluded many thoughts since the start of this series…
1.Louboutins are an investment
2. The sizing is important
3. There are a variety of styles (that either aide in the comfort or reduces it)
4. Research, with all of your getting, get an understanding
The previous posts are more in depth respectively. Now, let’s move ahead…
Men are like bulls. They cannot resist the red sole."-Christian Louboutin
A sexy comfortable pair of pointed toe pumps are signature in many wardrobes.
Honestly, the iconic pumps that comes to mind for Christian Louboutin, are stilettos.
I’ve shared the backing of the So Kate pump, but here is a comfortable alternative.
This style of pump comes in several heel heights:
85mm, 100mm, and 120mm.
Selecting the heel height is of personal preference.
However the shoe itself is amazing.
They are $675.00 currently.
I actually paid that price back in 2015 when I purchased them.
According to the Christian Louboutin site, “[Named]…
after one of his favorite neighborhoods in Paris,
"Pigalle" is Monsieur Louboutin’s most iconic style.
With its fine stiletto heel and pointed toe,
this celebrated model is a stunning look for business and pleasure alike.
The (85 mm, 100mm, 120mm, version will keep you
confident on your feet from rendezvous to rendezvous.”
~Sizing and Extra Specs:
While the 120mm are SEXY Gorgeous!
I prefer the 100mm in this shoe for many reasons.
The toe box is shorter than average.
This reduces the space allowed for the freedom of your toes.
It is suggested to possibly go up a half size.
The higher the heel height, you could remain at your standard size.
I don’t suggest it. I
t’s important that your feet have space to curl up in the shoe.
That will help with the ability to wear them more comfortably.
Typically you’d just add 30 to your normal American shoe size.
As advised before, in the average retail American brand I am a solid 11.
But the 41’s did not fit the way, I liked,
I opted for a 41.5. After multiple wears,
I wish that I went with the 42, the half size isn’t that big of a deal that a stretch can’t fix.
I have sent them to be stretched by cobblers and
wore them allowing the pumps to mold to me feet.
These are notably know to be highly rated for comfort.
I could easily say with in the top three.
They are pointed toe with a shorter toe box,
that makes it essential to purchase the correct size.
This is the classic Pointed Toe (Court Shoe) Pump.
There is no platform to offset the heel height or your weight while walking in them.
This shoe would be for the more seasoned pump wearer.
Again, there are three heel heights while considering this style of shoe.
It is an easy slide on and off pump.
I have taken both my black and nudes to be stretched.
Initially the did fit. And may I add like a glove, however,
over time they have become more comfortable
as the shoe is genuine patent leather and will mold to your foot.
By purchasing the pump slightly smaller,
I prefer the moleskin material version instead of gel inserts for this style of pump.
I have worn these with pantyhose/tights only.
There are rare moments when I lubricate my foot well and that works for me.
With a 100mm heel height or lower, they are church girl activity approved!
By that I mean…
I have sang in full concert, album releases, ushered,
walked convocations, and pretty much, act as if they were sneakers.
Honestly I can’t imagine how they would feel as a 120mm,
that thought does not send me to a land of bliss.
Let me tell you a secret..lol no one has ever suspected
my Pigalles to be anything less than 120mm.
I only have 100mm’s!!! LOL, but shh, that’s our secret.
The thickness of the heel is considerable and solid in construction.
Substantially more so than the So Kate thickness.
If you’re asking me which Louboutin Style,
should be your next purchase as a Court Shoe(Pointed toe pump)…
The option to pick the best heel height is ideal.
I only own the 100mm’s, after research,
and trying on the 85mm;
the 100mm’s are my sweet spot.

They lift you physically and emotionally."- Christian Louboutin.
Another style down!
I have received a request to discuss one additional style.
That will be next, until we meet again!
Until next time…
